Unique Gifts At Heidrick Ag History Center
WOODLAND, Calif. — History buff, soldier or antique collector on your shopping list? The Heidrick Ag History Center’s Gift Shop has a variety of items to brighten a friend or relative’s day.
From local products like Ludy’s Barbecue Sauce and Cache Creek Lavender Bath Salts to agricultural, tractor and truck history books, toy farm animals and die-cast tractors, the nonprofit Museum’s Gift Shop offers a variety of unique merchandise. Woodland-themed sweatshirts and T-shirts are for sale, as are hand-made gift baskets, baseball caps and coffee mugs.
“These Yolo County items make great, personalized gifts for loved ones — and especially to those military personnel stationed overseas,” said Wayne Ginsburg, president of the Heidrick Ag History Center Board of Directors.
Hand-made signs and other farm-related merchandise are sure to excite collectors.
“That rooster clock would be perfect for my mother-in-law’s kitchen,” said a woman getting ready to tour the Museum recently with a group of students from Elk Grove. “I’m going to have to stop here when we’re done because that T-shirt would be great for my brother, too.”
Tickets to the Museum make fabulous stocking stuffers at just $7 for adults, $6 for seniors (age 62 and older) and $4 for children ages 5-12. Group rates are available for parties of 10 or more with a reservation.
“With the largest collection of antique tractors in the United States, the Heidrick Ag History Center is sure to excite young and old as they explore the evolution of agriculture in our country,” Ginsburg said. “Tickets are great gifts for grandparents who farm, teachers, youth involved with 4-H or FFA, or someone who simply enjoys history.”
The Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The Heidrick Ag History Center is located at 1962 Hays Lane in Woodland.
